12/08/2009 The DVDs and Posters for the Triple Short Film Project are now on sale!!! They are packed with tons of bonuses and make a great stocking stuff for the holiday! What a great way to end out a very productive year! 11/18/2009 It has been a tough few months in the realm of this project. The hard drive crash in August was fought with for over a month trying to recover the data that was on it including both DVD's project files, all the video for the bonus dvd, and alot of other misc files that were needed. The hard drive eventually gave out and all was lost. Luckily the films were on a different drive, as well as the promo material etc. I have spent the month of October away from RI and the computer, and came back ready to make things happen. The DVD rebuild has been under way since the end of September when time allowed it. So... ...I am proud to announce that sometime in the next few weeks the DVDs will be released! Just in time for Christmas! The info on the dvd contents, pricing, ordering, and release date can all be found HERE. Action is coming for the holidays! Some of the proceeds will be used to send the films over seas to the Hong Kong International Film Festival, and other festivals worldwide, so we can continue again to get our names, faces, and work out in the world and wait to be discovered! 08/19/2009 'Five Minutes Flat' has won the award for 'Best Action Sequence Martial Arts Short' at the Action On International Film Festival 2009 in Pasadena, California! We were fortunate enough to also meet James Lew, a stuntman and fight coordinator from LA. We also met the EMC Monkeys, a hard working stunt crew from LA, and the Ottowa action team from Canada. All three groups took home awards so it was great to network with the best of the best upcoming talent. 07/05/2009 The premiere in April went off without a hitch! Everyone that attended left with huge smiles on their faces, and all had a fantastic time. I would like ot thank everyone who came out, showed support, and had a wonderful night, I know I did. 03/13/2009 A lot has been going on the past few weeks. Sons of Lemuria and American Chop suey finally both hit %100 completion. Being a perfectionist, it wasn't an easy feat to accomplish. However they are both locked down never to be edited again (except in the futrue when they make 3d hologram versions of old movies heh). The are prepped for the DVD and the subtitles are being worked on for the 3 main languages of the world - English, SPanish, and Chinese (Mandarin). The bonus DVD footage is almost %100 as well. 1 special effect analysis video is awaiting completion, and one sound effect comparison video (to show the effect of having sound and music) is waiting on the completion of Five Minutes Flat. The interview with Nathan and David for the bonus disc is also in editing. In Premiere Event news, the first piece of the stunt performance has been choreographed and is moving into its second piece. I am still seeking means to get everything printed that I need, if you have any connections or leads to someone willing to help out with printing, please use the contact form and let me know. I can offer free advertising etc. in exchange for the printing. The DVDs will all be printed in house (literally just in my house) so I am still working on an effecient and effective process for that as well. I hope to have at least 300 ready for sale by the premiere, all to be autographed. Still alot of work to come, but things are definately coming along :) 02/28/2009 Tickets for the premiere are now on sale! Tell your friends, your families, your enemies, everyone needs entertainment! This night is to go down as an Indie Premiere you don't want to miss! 3 shorts films, live kung fu and stunt demos, taking pictures with the costumed actors, and more! Its going to be a blast! Tickets are $20 and $15 and get you a free entry into the raffle for goodies as well. Bring in a non-perishable food item for the RI Food bank and get a free character print to get autographed! Everyone wins! Start spreading the word and buy your tickets early, the show is likely to sell out. Nathan A. Quattrini will be recieving an award tonight at the New England Talent Award Show at the Columbus Theater in Providence, RI. The award he is being honored for is the Best Upcoming Producer, and was decided after careful review of the Premiere website and info. People are starting to take notice and I hope it helps to reshape how people view Indie film. 02/23/2009 There has been alot going on behind the scenes. The most important announcement right now is the update to the Premiere Info page. The full details of the night's events and entertainment have been posted. I am glad to announce a live performance by the Demo Team at The Way of the Dragon School (East Providence RI) and a live stunt performance by the Stunt Players of America. Every seat in the theater has a great view, and these live performances will really help to set this Premiere Event apart from the usual Indie film premiere. Head over to the Premiere Info page for full details. Posters and other advertising mediums are in the works. I hope to have poster designs in the next 2 weeks. The DVD for the Triple Short will be coming as a 2 DVD set. One will contain two variations of the Triple Short showing orders. The second will be packed with bonus footage, test footage, outtakes, image slide shows, interviews, etc. More on that as the time draws closer and things get accomplished. Lastly the press releases and info packets are also under way, and we will begin reaching out to media outlets for coverage soon. If you have any connections to any outlets who you think would cover this event please contact me. 02/01/2009 Big news! The theater for the Premiere has been decided on. With that also comes a date. It will be held on April 23rd at the beautiful Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket, RI. The theater boasts stadium style seating so no matter where you are sitting you have a great view. It seats 1,000 people and is newly restored, bringing it to its original beauty. I am grateful to have worked out the details with the owners and look forward to putting on a night of wonderful entertainment in such a great place. It truly will be a night to remember. Ticket presales will likely begin soon once I have full theater info available and on the website. The premiere planning is also well under way. I have teamed up with Lori Castor, who recently opened a new Haunted House in Rhode Island which I was a part of, and we are already working on getting things together. The night promises to be packed with entertainment, and opportunity to meet the stars before they rise, as well as a great networking opportunity for those involved with film. In film news, both American Chop Suey and Sons of Lemuria have finished in edting and have been submitted to the SENE Film Festival as their first festival. Here is hoping that they both get accepted. With the films being complete I can now move on to the mountains of DVD extras that will come on a second disc with the DVD for the films. It, like the premiere, will be packed with as much astuff as I can muster for your entertainment. Five Minutes Flat is still currently getting the musical score written for it, but is done otherwise. The Triple Short has also been invited to the Indie Gathering Film Festival out in Cleveland Ohio in August. They have been accepted and I will be going out there with some fellow filmakers to talk about the films, sign posters, and generally have a great time, and meet some more great people. This is truly going to be an exciting year! 01/22/2009 There is a new blog written by David on his experience working on the three films, check it out. Planning has begun for the premiere. There will be the 3 films, other entertainment as well as lots of schmoozing, so be ready to meet the stars of tomorrow. I promise your entertainment is at the heart of the planning and hope to see smiles on every face as you leave the theater. It would be my pleasure. 01/01/2009
